Ok, the media and even the various NWS offices in the Midwest have anointed
these as "Leonid" even though the directions of movement seem all wrong,
and, of course, it was 7PMish local time in the areas it was seen.

What are the odds that a major sporadic fireball would occur right before
the Leonids?

Of course, with the media hype already occured it will be a futile effort
pointing out this wasn't a Leonid..dot sigh.
