I posted what was probably the longest claimed sight time (2 minutes).  It is possible this may have been shorter and the experience enhanced by my family's sheer amazement, but it seemed to go on for a very long time.  I can say, though, that it at least matched the 30 sec. view others are reporting, and I am reasonably certain it was much longer.  We had time to see it begin, notice it was not a plane but a meteor, get through traffic to the other side of the road, stop on the side, put the car in park, and still watch it go across the sky and break apart off in the distance.

If this is man-made debris, can't someone identify it conclusively?

Also, NASA has now changed www.leonidslive.com to state this this fireball was likely unrelated to the Leoinds because of its eastward movement.
