Hi Greg,
The quality of the CD-ROM digitising is very good - however beware in the
UK there are two services offered -
Photo CD which saves the images as .PCD format that not all programmes will
read but is of high resolution and uses lossless compression.
Picture CD uses .JPG compression that can be read by more programmes but is
a lossy method so you get compression artefacts if you try to enhance it.
