(meteorobs) First Photographed Meteor Shower

A little late but a currious fact of history.

November 27, 1885
The earliest photograph of a meteor shower was made in Prague,
Czechoslovakia. Meteor showers are produced by small fragments of
cosmic debris entering the earth's atmosphere at extremely high
speed. The debris originates from the intersection between a
planet's orbit and a comet's orbit.
