(meteorobs) Leonids on the DMS-website
Hi to All,
It is now one week after members of the Dutch Meteor Society returned from
their Leonid '99 expedition which brought them near Valencia in Spain.
All 5 DMS-teams in Spain and Portugal very succesfully observed the Leonid
Outburst in every detail. No clouds, fine Lm's and astonishing numbers of
meteors!
In the past week we performed our first analyses on the visual
observations, developed our films and looked at the videotapes of the image
intensifier videosystems.
Now we invite you to come along at the DMS-website to view our first results.
Most visual observations are presented and some very fine photo's with lots
of meteors.
