(meteorobs) Nov 16-20 observations, Maryland, USA

Well I've finally managed to get my son's and my own observations for Nov
16/17 & 19/20 typed up.We were terribly disappointed to find that our tape
recorder failed intermittently on the night of the peak, apparently due to
the cold weather, ~20 F. We lost most of our "time stamps" and therefore
can not report even 1 Hr teff, although we were out from 0300 - 1100 UT. I
did manage to remember/recover info on two Leonid fireballs, a -5 at 5:10
UT, and a -3 with a 5 second train at 6:16 UT Nov 17/18. If memory serves
me, the -5 fireball at 5:10 UT was the first Leonid of the night,
streaking from below Gemini all the way to the western horizon. Sorry for
the delay, had hundreds of emails and lots of work and thanksgiving and on
and on.........

PS. I noticed several (~10??) very fast "sporadics" that seemed to all
come from just a bit above and right of Leo's sicle. Could they have been
AMO's? I'm not familiar with that radiant. They looked like Leonids, but
didn't line up.
