The Geminids are different than the Leonids in that knowing the expected time 
of peak activity is not as critical . . . meteors will likely be abundant for 
many hours surrounding the predicted peak night.  Your best bet is to plan an 
all-nighter for the night of December 13-14.  Start your watch around 9 or 10 
p.m. and continue on till dawn if you have that much time.  Gemini is nearly 
overhead at around 2 a.m.
