Actually, the best two nights for the Geminids are Dec 12/13 & 13/14.  Plus, you should
begin observing soon after 11 PM local time.  Unlike the Leonids, you do not have to wait    
until well after midnight to get some decent Geminid meteor activity as this radiant rises significantly
earlier than the Leonid radiant.  Maximum activity will likely be on the night of Dec 13/14.  This would be
the evening to plan a long meteor watch between 11 PM and 5 AM local time.  Hope you see a great number
