(meteorobs) Geminid Weather Prospects

Time for all of us to start getting concerned as to the prospective
weather conditions for Geminid watchers for next Monday night. Latest
long-range charts are suggesting a fairly vigorous storm system working into
the western Ohio Valley by Monday night. Doesn't look very good for those
living around the Great Lakes region and points south down to the panhandle
of Florida. The northeast and mid-Atlantic states could see a gradual
increase in cloudiness spreading from west to east. Probably the best place
to be would be over the western half of the US, although a Pacific cold front
is projected to push into Washington and Oregon likely bringing a build-up of
clouds and rain showers.
