(meteorobs) Joe Rao's NPR interview on the Geminids

I heard Joe Rao's interview on NPR's Talk of the Nation "Science Friday"
today at about 3:05pm EST. Good show, Joe! The Geminids can always use
more "good press" with the public. :)

Joe managed to mention how, when and where to observe the shower; what
makes Geminids Geminids (the radiant); where the stream comes from (the
asteroid - which may really be a defunct comet - 3200 Phaeton); and even
what drinks and snacks to keep on hand!

By the way, I've read that there may be ONE other shower associated with
an asteroid - the very weak Delta Leonids, peaking around 24 Feb. The IMO
Calendar considers these likely to be "a part of the Virginid complex of
radiants" - in other words, part of the diffuse band of ecliptical meteor
radiants which can be observed drifting from West to East all year long.

However, some published comments in the journal of the IMO, "WGN", have
suggested the DLEs may actually have asteroid 445 Pan as a parent body.
Is anyone familiar with any recent evidence for or against this?
