(meteorobs) Video GIF
Tony,
Just seen your video GIF at www.Geminids.com. The second meteor is way
too slow to be a Coma Berenicid or Leonid. Coupled with the fact that
we're four weeks from the Leonid peak and it's a young shower, I think
we can reject the Leonid hypothesis.
The direction fits with a sigma-Hydrid, but the speed looks too low
again and is more compatible with a Monocerotid. However, the path
length is too long and its direction doesn't quite match. My money is
on it being a sporadic.
