(meteorobs) Re: Trains and Magnitudes



Kim,

I'm certain that swift meteors of all magnitudes produce trains. It's
just difficult for the eye to see the fainter ones. I have seen trains
on meteors as faint as 4th magnitude. I'm sure Norman McLeod has seen
trains on meteors fainter than that. I'm sure it depends on one's visual
acuity.
