Yes,  Jure, Lyrids can produce fireballs:) In fact, the month of April itself,
from what I've read, can be quite busy fireball-wise.  Now get out there next
April and see for yourself!

Yeah, I've seen one of those fireballs, on March 28, 1996 while observing
Hyakutake I saw a major -11 mag green fragmenting sporadic fireball. Also,
my dad saw a -8 sporadic fireball on March 1, 1998. But as far as Lyrids
are concerned, my bes was a -1 mag meteor :(
