(meteorobs) Ok to mention nova now?
Hello folks,
Now that the Geminids crush is over, maybe I should remind everyone that
the nova in Aquila (V1494) is still visible! I have been maintaining a
webpage for it at http://www.qsldot net/ah6l/npage.html .
I invite any observers, who may be bored without any meteors to watch,
to try some magnitude estimates, and submit them to me, so I can update
the light curve on the webpage.
At mag 7.3, its any easy binocular object from any location. (Except for
Norman, of course, who can use his naked eye).
