It occurred to me today while I was hiking along a ridge line in bright
sunshine that if Y2K really does knock out all electrical power, the night
skies would be as dark as they were back when Native Americans lived here
alone and in peace.
Now wouldn't that be something?
What an unprecedented opportunity for Quadrantid observing - even in urban
areas!
