Re: (meteorobs) Happy Holidays
The sky for the area around Dutchess and Putnam Counties in New York State
was clear during the 1966 Leoninds. My Mother was so impressed she woke all
the children and had us observe. We were amazed! Due to experiencing that
storm/shower (though I was too young to remember many details) most all 9
children now observe the night sky to some degree.
Hoping for clear skies for the Quads. 1999 has been pretty much a bummer
when it comes to meteor watching here in South Central Pennsylvania.
