(meteorobs) QUA's in Central Texas, Jan. 3/4 2000

To all,

Texas was much luckier than the northern half of the country. We had
beautifully clear skies all day and night. Since this is the last major
shower visible until the ETA's in May, I put in a 6 hour session,
0630-1230 UT. The QUA's were quite active, giving quite beautiful shower
members.

Quick summary of the hour-by-hour counts:
0630-0730 : 9 QUA, 4 SPO
0731-0830 : 19 QUA, 8 SPO
0831-0930 : 29 QUA, 7 SPO
0931-1030 : 25 QUA, 6 SPO
1031-1130 : 25 QUA, 11 SPO
1131-1230 : 37 QUA, 13 SPO

Highlight was 4 QUA's in RAPID succession (all seen in 1.5s,
travelling the same direction, separated by a few degrees) at 1159 UT.
