While sorting papers at work I noticed I neglected to post my "corrected"
Geminid rates. These rates are corrected for limiting magnitude and time
meaning that this is what I would have seen from the Geminids had the LM been
6.5 and each period exactly 60 minutes in length.

PERIOD TeFF LM ACTUAL RATES CORRECTED RATES

0600-0700 UT 1.00 6.37 88 100
0700-0800 UT 1.00 6.02 64 101
0800-0900 UT 1.00 5.91 61 110
0900-1000 UT 1.00 6.08 63 94
1000-1100 UT 0.83 5.58 38 109
1100-1200 UT 0.50 5.57 23 111
1200-1300 UT 1.00 5.96 45 76

As seen above, the corrected rates are very smooth with the expected dropoff
at the end as the radiant sinks into the western sky. This also demonstrates
how skies with lower limiting magnitudes produce much less activity. The
corrected rates ARE NOT zenith hourly rates as these figures are not corrected
for radiant elevation.

Happy Holidays!

Bob Lunsford
