If you want to find out more about halos, you can also try the homepage of
our Arbeitskreis Meteore in Germany: www.meteorosdot de
It has a large archive of halo photographies, descriptions of the halo
types, and much more.

You may wonder: What have meteor observers to do with halos?
Well, our society (AKM) unites people interested in all types of
atmospheric phenomena. The two biggest groups within the AKM are the
meteor group and the halo group, but we also have observers of NLC and
other phenomena.
