Nude meteor observing? Hey, don't knock it till you've tried it...

Seriously, as Joe points out, you should wrap yourself up like a MUMMY before
you try doing ANY meteor observing in the cold: most amateur astronomers know
that it can get very cold during a Winter night. Yet few even among amateur
astronomers realize just how cold it can feel while you're lying STILL and FLAT
under the sky for two or more hours on a Winter night!

Clear (warm) skies all,
