Hearty thanks to Bob Lunsford for undertaking these weekly meteor activity
updates in 2000 - they will become extremely handy during this quiet year!

BTW, don't despair, folks: Bob meant to say that the nearest major meteor
shower is only *FOUR* months away. The Eta Aquarids will peak May 5, though
for observers further North, the radiant will be too low to show the full
force of this fine shower. Still the moon is nearly New that night!
