(meteorobs) Limiting Magnitudes -Reply



Dosen't the human eye do better at identifying faint objects when there is
motion, compared to when the scene is still?

I'm not sure if it applies to night vision and how far off the center of vision
(fovea?) it applies.  We may do better than the stellar LM for moving objects
like meteors.
