Dave, thanks for following up this event: you've given an EXCELLENT example to
all of us interested in meteor science, as to how to research and report a
public fireball sighting in the most careful and least sensational way.

Have you reported a summary of your findings to any groups outside 'meteorobs'?
If not, you should definitely consider doing so.
