RE: (meteorobs) Comets hit Spain?

I saw it on the news the day it happened.
One piece hit a car windshield.. it was about a 15-18 inches half-round,
with the flat side carved out like a bowl leaving about 5" thickness
everywhere.
It was more oblong than round. When they say melon sized, this piece looked
more like a water meon sliced lengthwise and carved out... i.e. a large
melon.
When they said it was probably from a passing airliner it surprised me that
this ice was 'normal/water' -coloured instead of ' waste ' -coloured.
At that time they only reported the one piece coming down.
