Hi Ray, ( and others in the meteor group who have expressed interest )

The Anglo-Saxon name for January was Wulfmonath, the month when wolves 
starved and descended ferociously on villages, in northern Europe in general 
and England in particular -------- so the name of the Full moon in January 
has got to be "Wolf Moon" !
