Re: (meteorobs) Names of the Full Moons



I am sure that these names for the moons (months) are lost in antiquity.
However they are of Northern European origin and certainly that time of
the year would be the time that wolves would be active, aggressive and
perhaps dangerous to humans because of the shortage of food.  That is
only a guess.
