RE: (meteorobs) Comets hit Spain?

Hi to everybody,

Yes, some of the ice chunks that fell are on the approach path to some of
the most big (or used) spanish airports. One of the first chunks fell when a
aircraft was near the point of collision.

From other reports of aircraft waste it's usually blue due to the chemicals
used. However there is nothing to stop quite large lumps of ice falling off
aircraft when they lower the under carriage for landing. DO we know if this
was near the approach path to an airfield ?

this ice was 'normal/water' -coloured instead of ' waste ' -coloured.
At that time they only reported the one piece coming down.<
