(meteorobs) lunar eclipse

I bought my 8" f/6 in the 'summer of love' (1967 for the younger generations). My first Lunar eclipse was in October '67. It was spectacular. I observed it thru my Brandon ortho 32mm. The color ranged from bright red furthest from the edge of the umbra to blue nearest the edge of the umbra. I have not seen its like to this day. The consensus for that eclipse was 3.3 on the Danjon scale. Like several of you here, I rated this eclipse around 2 - 2.5. I would be interested in any feedback from anyone who had observed the '67 eclipse.
