(meteorobs) Observations 02-26/27-00

I went back out on the 26/27 for a second consecutive night of observing.  The sky was noticeably brighter, and my LM suffered just a bit, as it averaged about 6.30, but continued to drop slowly throughout the session until the middle of the third (scheduled) period when altocumulus-type clouds took completely over.  I was forced to add the usable portion of period three back into period two.  I thus had about 2.61 usable hrs of clear teff.
Again, the number of faint meteors was high, but I did have a few brighter meteors.  The VIR's were competely absent (from my plots, anyway) but the DLE rates were better, with three plotted.  A fine, bright (0) foreshortened DLE appeared within the body of Leo near the star 42 Leo -- perfectly easy to identify without cord or plot!
