Subject: ?1886 Leonids?

I note the Leonids are suggested as candidates due to date, with no
mention of radiant [sorry if I've missed summat].

If there is date confusion there are a few other possible candidates,
given no radiant data.

Others have already noted Bielids.

The alpha Monocerotids carry a date of 20/21 Nov for their 1925
'discovery' outburst, but that'd have to be 1885 again given a probable
ten year periodicity for these.

The tentative 'mu Pegasids' have Nov 10/11th dates for possible
outbursts in in 1883 and 1893.

See Meteor Stream Activity: II Meteor Outbursts, P Jenniskens, Astron. &
Astrophys. 295, 206 [1995] available for download as a pdf file via the
NASA ADS at adsabs.harvarddot edu
