Re: (meteorobs) Good News (Way Off Topic...Sorry)

I work in the media buying field and may have some connections. What kind of
show are you thinking about? One time special, weekly program, daily
feature? Television or radio? Who do you want to reach? General public,
scientific community, school children?

The best way to get a show on the air is to get a sponsor to bankroll the
program. The sponsor's money pays for the production of the show (and
possibly the airtime) in return for commercial time in the show. Getting a
station to take your idea, then produce the show, and finally sell the time
to advertisers is a long shot. The station needs a strong, financial
incentive to consider a project.

Possible sponsors might include NASA, telescope (and other sky observing
related equipment) manufacturers, planetariums, magazine and book publishers.
