(meteorobs) Late report on ETA observation 2000 May 5/6

Late report on ETA observation 2000 May 5/6

The meteor shower was observed together with Dan Xia, Yimei Li,
Yuling Wang, and Yuwei Fan. I was the only one among us who recorded
in standard way. Others were just enjoy the nice night sky. It's the
first time for Miss Li and the second time for Miss Wang to be there
on mountain.

It's obvious that they saw more meteors than I had, but only those
I saw during the normal observation times are recorded in this report.
We also saw several quite bright ETAs after my stopping formal
observation.

It seems to me that the ETAs were not much, perhaps because of my
too northern latitude for this meteor shower. It's really amazing
me that there were so many satellites during the session, and it's
obvious that Miss Li was really good on satellite early detections
with her naked eyes.
