Re: (meteorobs) Those Electric Blue Meteors
I wanted to thank B. Yen for posting those photos of the electric blue
Geninids, very nice work (from a person with a degree in photography). I
did see a much smaller meteor of the same color, about a +1, later in the
same area. It also had the large somewhat clear head as the -9 meteor.
The photos indicate I must have missed a few. The blow-up photo shows
the odd dark outline of the head as a dim streaks. Next year I'll going to
have my camera ready so still photos can be taken, not timed photos but
regular still photos. It will be difficult but I would like to capture a still
photo of the structure of the head of these odd looking bueaties if they
return.
