Hello friends,
I received the following mail about a possible fireball on May 27 in
Colorado. Is there anybody in the US who has more information?
Cheers, Sirko
PS: It seems Mark's address is working again...

Maybe you can give me more information. On May 27th (Saturday) we were
camping in Colorado, between Fairplay and Buena Vista in a National Forest
area called Salt Creek. It was about 10:45 PM we were sitting around a
campfire and the sky lit up. We saw a large fiery object traveling through
the sky from a N-NW direction. We asked other people camping around us and
they saw it too. It went over a mountain and out of our sight.
Approximately 2-3 minutes later we all heard a large rumble and we felt the
ground shake. Have you heard any reports of a meteor from that night?
Please contact me with any information. We are all very interested.
Thank you,
Gayle Belvin
