I have a report from an individual who gives the time as 2250 MDT.  He saw
it low in the SW from Granite Canyon, Wyoming (41.06 N, 105.09 W):

"Appeared like it was slowly decending but on continuing observation,  it
was moving in a southwest direction at an extremely high rate of speed.  It
was shaped just like a horseshoe crab without its tail.  After this object
disappeared beyond the horizon, a bright sheet-lightning like flash
appeared across the southern horizon.  Continued watching and did not
detect any sign of fire on the ground."
