(meteorobs) Re: Did anyone notice a Huge Meteor Saturday evening 8:35pm EST
Hello everyone, I am not familiar with the correct procedure for reporting
these things so please excuse the inconvenience if I am not doing it
correctly.
DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE?: Saturday Night, Sept. 16th, around 8:35+- a huge
meteor? with a tail that tracked across almost the entire sky then broke in
half and faded into the ocean going from the West to Direct Easterly
direction. The tail was visible the entire time. My son remarked that it
looked like an inexpensive bottle rocket but it was way up in the sky and
traveled a far distance. It was the brightest I have ever seen.
