(meteorobs) LM
I have been out observing meteors about seven times or more this year
but have only made a disorganized report on one. The primary reason is
that I have been unable to find any dark skies. I am lucky to have a LM
of 5.5 in a small area near the zenith. Every where I go there is light
pollution. I do have the question of how deep must the LM be to make
useful reports? I don't see reports of LM decreasing significantly as
you leave the zenith. I have concluded that my eyes may have failed so
that I cannot see stars below 5.5 under the best circumstances.
I hope this will help the decrease in meteorobs traffic and reassure
