(meteorobs) Observations Perseids 1994 (The meteor trail is brighter than a meteor?)
Observations meteoric shower Perseid in night with 11 on August 12 1994.
Geographical longitude 48d05mE
Geographic latitude 54d19mN
The observations were hindered by a mist, Lm in neighbourhoods of a head
Draconis 5.7.
Strange thing! The observer Mihail Tihonov has not noted a meteor, which is
designated by number 24, but then on its place all of us have seen a bright
track of a meteor, approximately 2 value. This meteor trail did not vary 30
seconds and was similar to a bright comet or broom. Then, during 10 seconds
the meteor trail "has thawn". The meteor leaving this track should be very
bright. Why the observer has not noted a meteor? The meteor is brighter than
a meteor trail? It is possible?
This meteor, probably, belonged shower Perseid.
