Re: (meteorobs) Leonids in the news

Perhaps someone on the list could tell us where best visibililty would be in
northwest,Ct and what day and time. My husband is a fanatic with trying to
observe meteor showers. However the last few showers were not visible due to
weather. We now have a joke whenever meteors are coming expect rain. No
kidding the last 6 at least have been too cloudy or rainy . Is there any
hope to see the Leonids We thought they' be peaking on the 21st.
P.S Any advice on how to buy your first telescope. I'm thinking of buying my
husband a gift he has long been asking for?
