(meteorobs) Unusual meteor sighting over Massachusetts?

Hi list! --

Am forwarding you a message that I received this evening from Mr. Walter
Drag, Lead Forecaster of the Taunton (Boston) National Weather Service,
concerning multiple reports of apparent "meteor showers" between 7 and 7:45
p.m. EST over parts of southern New England. Sounds more to me like a
brilliant fireball or bolide that might have been seen to fragment into
several pieces. Can anyone add anything to this? If so, you might want to
contact Mr. Drag directly at Walter.Drag@noaadot gov
