Many people use a tape recorder to log their observations.
Small helndheld devices for recording speach are available.
I am using a more basic method. Just a paper rollas used in
cash desk machines. I write blindly while observing with a pencil.
Sounds archaic, but always works...no empty batteries, no
other technical mulfunction.
