(meteorobs) Radio Meteor Detection System
A friend of mine is trying to set up a meteor radio detection system for
a young amateur. They at present, have a computer and an A/D converter
card. They were looking at monitoring the AGC voltage from an FM receiver,
feeding this through the A/D, into the computer for recording. They have
not been able to find a receiver at reasonable cost that will allow easy
access to the AGC voltage. Can anyone suggest a solution, or another method
to use to accomplish the same task. Funds are limited, so the simplest the
solution the better. Any comments would be appreciated and I will pass this
information on to them.
