(meteorobs) Fw: Bad news about V.V.Martynenko...

To those that may have heard of Vasily Martynenko I received this email
below today;
I received a letter
a few days ago and in it he was ill but happy and told me he had received
a medal and award from the Supreme Soviet in the Crimea for Meriterious
work he had done with the observatory.
I knew Vasily since 1973 and it is hard for me not to shed tears for him.
