Karl and All,

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, Geminid observations obtained this year under moonlight are
still valuable. Just be sure to face away from the radiant this year to
avoid the intense moonlight.

2. The 2003 Leonids will still be a decent shower with slight
enhancements when we pass close to several dust trails. With any luck
rates of 30-60 Leonids per hour may be witnessed for a short time near
closest approach to each dust trail.
