Re: (meteorobs) Zodiacal Light (etc) and the Bortle Scale
A few years ago I was with a group of overseas observers in the Australian
outback. A friend and I were bemoaning the presence of thin cirrus.
It took me a while to work out why they thought the sky was so impressive;
the clouds were not being illuminated by light pollution so they didn't
recognise it's presence!
