Subject: [IMO-News] Fireball Report

17:57 PST. From Dana Point California. Fireball appeared directly
above my head. Travled on a heading of approx 190 deg. Initial mag.
was -5 or -6 (brighter than venus and cast a shadow) and it broke
into a dozen or more small pieces before slowing and going out.
Color was white, then off red and orange as it dissapated.
Disappeared about 10 deg. below the ecliptic.
