I'm not sure how the ingredients differ from regular coffee, and I in no way
have tried it myself (so I guess my remarks are simply hear-say), but I had
a friend in college who was a fellow physics major who sometimes partook of
the more destructive side of life. He used to say that taking 4 NoDoz
affected him the same as a single tablet of Speed. Perhaps his body
chemistry just interacted in that manner, but he never had any problems
drinking coffee with me in the morning.
Sad thing about him--he could explain black-hole physics at almost any
level, but because of his lifestyle he dropped out before getting a degree.
Going on, I'm sure that any drug <even coffee> can be abused and what he was
doing would definetly fall into that category; however, taking only 1 NoDoz
used to make my heart race and my head sweat something awful. I would
recommend avoiding it in favor of more natural stimulants (like Snickers!).
