(meteorobs) Jan. 24 Meteor Observations From California

I watched from home this morning for any activity from Coma Berenices.
During 3 hours of observing I counted 9 meteors, none from the proposed
radiant. Plots revealed two meteors intersecting at 13:20 +27, some
distance northeast of the proposed radiant. Two Delta Cancrids were seen
early in the session along with one possible meteor from the southern
apex source. I would have watched for another hour but clouds from an
approaching front obscured the skies by 1300 (5am PST). It was very wet
tonight with a heavy layer of dew covering everything. My charts were
soaked after only an hour.

The first column gives the period watched stated in Universal Time (UT)
which is PDT + 8 hours. The second column gives the percent of that
particular hour actually spent observing the sky. Time was lost for
plotting and data entry tonight. The third column gives the correction
for clouds. 1.00 is perfectly clear while higher numbers indicate some
interference. The fourth column gives the average limiting magnitude
estimated during each period. The last several columns list the activity
seen during each period. I was facing south at an altitude of 70 degrees
during the entire session. No breaks were taken. DCA = Delta Cancrids
(Antihelion Radiant), and SPO = Sporadics (random activity).
