(meteorobs) Re: What for the Lyrids & Eta Aquarids 2001?



It certainly could! Ask the surprised watchers of the 1982 Lyrid shower.
Although rates were not 700 per hour they were well over 100 per hour
which was the best display of the Lyrids since 1803. This is another
reason why we ask observers to watch the skies, just in case another
surprising display occurs.
