Thanks, Daniel, but I DON'T consider your stories to be "hype:"  you are an 
avid and knowledgeable reporter in the area of astronomy and planetary 
science, and I enjoy reading your articles (and trust them to be 
accurate).  What I was referring to was the "NASA attempts to blow up a 
comet" stuff that will surely come out regardless of efforts to educate to 
the contrary.

On the name:  I gagged upon first hearing the name of the mission, because 
of the ultra-stupid Hollywood movie that went under the same name, but 
apparently, the mission name had been chosen back when it was proposed the 
first time around (and turned down) and BEFORE it was known that a motion 
picture was coming out with that same title.  After reworking and 
resubmitting the proposal, it was approved in 1999, and by then the old 
name had stuck, for better or worse.
